Uniforms

The uniform shop can be accessed online through the school's website. It can be found in the P and C section. Once you order has been processed, you will be contacted to collect it from the school office, or it can be sent home via your child's school bag if you request. Alternatively, the Uniform Shop aims to be open on one Saturday of each month during term, from 8:30 am to 9:30 am and at other times depending on the availability of volunteers. Times are always published in the school newsletter every second week during term.

Wet Weather

During wet weather students stay in the classroom. Before school all students go straight to their classroom when they arrive at school. (Children must not arrive before 8.30am). The school encourages raincoats and hats rather than umbrellas.

Illness

Should your child become sick and be unable to attend school, you can write a brief note to the class teacher, explaining the nature of the illness and the date(s) away. This can be given to the class teacher on the child's return to school. You do not need to phone the school, unless the illness is an infectious disease or particularly serious and the absence is expected to extend more than three days. You must contact the school immediately of infectious diseases such as chicken pox, measles, German measles, mumps, whooping cough or conjunctivitis and impetigo.

Canteen

The School Canteen is open Monday to Friday. Lunch Orders are placed through an online ordering system called “Qkr!”. Snacks and drinks can be bought as cash purchases at Recess. Snacks, drinks and ice-blocks can be bought as cash purchases at Lunchtime. Please click here for more information about the canteen and how to order online.

Homework

Homework is designed to consolidate what your child is learning in the classroom. Each grade has different expectations of the type and quantity of homework completed each week. Class teachers will inform you of their expectations.

Interviews

Our Meet The Teacher night is held in Term I for all parents. This year (2016) they will be held during Week 4 of Term 1. At this session the teacher outlines the class program and organisation for the year. Parent/teacher interviews are to be held in Week 10 of term 1, to discuss students' progress and alert you to any issues as early as we can. Should you wish to discuss your childs' progress at any other time, please make an appointment with your child's teacher.

Assemblies

Weekly Monday morning Assembly is at 9.00am in the top COLA outside the hall. This is a K-6 assembly.
Our assemblies, either K-2 or 3-6 are currently held on Thursdays at 2pm. Parents are welcome to attend. We hold a Whole School Assembly every week 4 and 8 of term to give out our Silver, Gold, Diamond and Platinum awards as well as other special awards. Dates and times are published in the fortnightly newsletter and on the calendar, which is also online.

Before and After Care

Our centre is run by YMCA and offers care for children on school days for morning and afternoon sessions. Students must be registered and may attend on a casual or permanent basis. It is a requested that you register at the beginning of each year.

The centre also provides Vacation Care.

After school	3.00pm – 6.00pm

We also have external providers for after school care. These providers pick up the children by bus from the school each afternoon. A teacher is on duty with those children awaiting their pickup. These providers are :
